The Cheshire Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps is a music & dance based group in the Warrington area of Cheshire, which offers young people the opportunity to travel the country and to compete in the Drum Corps United Kingdom & British Youth Band Associations. For those who participate, it is about maturing, learning and coping. It teaches participants independence, teamwork and how to handle success & defeat.
The Cheshire Cadets are a non-profit making organisation, whose aims include keeping young people off the streets, and at the same time giving them something constructive to do. The people involved in the running and teaching of the corps give their time voluntarily. The only reward is in the knowledge that the children they teach, learn how to respect others and have a sense of pride in what they ultimately achieve.
